IP4 plans to roll out six Moomin drawstring bags and pouches through capsule-toy machines in Japan from late October 2026. Each turn costs ¥500 including tax, and the products are intended for ages 15 and over.
The formats range from a large drawstring bag to a half-moon pouch, a square pouch and two lidded versions. The larger bag is 260 millimetres wide and has a gusseted base; the maker says it can hold a lunch box. The collection therefore includes storage pieces with different uses, rather than six variations on one small charm.
The designs draw on characters from the Moomin novels. One satin-style drawstring bag features two characters, while the half-moon pouch opens widely and carries artwork on both sides. The announcement lists polyester, zipper components and cotton cords among the materials across the range.
The stated release is a gradual national rollout, not a single arrival date for every machine. IP4 says it cannot answer enquiries about which individual shops will install the product. The announcement also warns that the actual items may differ slightly from the photographs.
