Okayama University will host a violin-and-cello recital at Junko Fukutake Hall on its Shikata campus on November 6. The university’s October 25 announcement sets the start for 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m.
Admission is 2,500 yen, payable in cash on the day. No reservation is required and seating is unreserved. The venue is at 2-5-1 Shikata-cho in Okayama’s Kita Ward; the organizer asks visitors to use public transport and prohibits food and drink.
The announced program combines works for violin and cello together with unaccompanied pieces for each instrument. Ravel and Kodaly feature in the duo selections, while the program may change. Okayama University and the local cultural foundation jointly organize the concert.
