Denon will run a free vinyl-listening pop-up at Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics in Tokyo from November 8 to 15, 2026. Advance reservations are not required, although visitors may need to wait when it is busy.

Visitors can operate current record players and ask staff about handling records and choosing equipment. The event also displays the historic Nipponophone No. 35 gramophone, but that exhibit is not available for a listening demonstration.

International fan outlook and trend context — Editorial forecast

The programme places a historical gramophone beside the current record-player range, combining a display-only object with equipment visitors can actually operate. Editorial forecast: overseas vinyl fans visiting Tokyo may appreciate this distinction because it makes clear which part of the audio-history display offers a hands-on listening experience.

The venue is on the store’s second floor. Hours are 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekends, with a 6 p.m. closing on the final day. An event-logo tote is offered with eligible Denon record-player purchases at the store while supplies last; free admission does not include a free player.
