Tokyo News Service will publish stage actor Toshiki Tateishi’s new photobook on December 11, with reservations through bookshops and online retailers nationwide. The standard edition is priced at 3,960 yen. Some regions may have a different release date, the publisher notes.
The photography took place in Odate, Akita Prefecture, where the performer was born and serves as a tourism ambassador. Alongside portraits, the book includes a guide to facilities and restaurants visited during the shoot. Its local connection is therefore part of the book’s content, not the location of a newly announced public exhibition.
The actor’s career spans stage adaptations of manga and games as well as larger musical productions. The photobook brings that performing-arts audience into a travel-focused project, with visits involving local food, hot springs and Akita dogs among the described scenes.
Retailer versions have different benefits. Amazon and Rakuten Books offer the same alternate cover, with the interior matching the standard edition. Animate offers a making-of DVD bundle at 6,160 yen including tax. Signed copies through another retailer will ship after the release date. Benefits are limited by stock. December launch events are planned in Osaka and Tokyo, but their detailed participation arrangements have not yet been announced.
