Cartoon Network Japan will begin showing My Hero Academia on November 6 at 6 p.m., Discovery Japan announced on October 23. This is the series’ first appearance on that channel, rather than the premiere of a newly announced anime season.
The regular schedule pairs two episodes each weekday from 6 to 7 p.m., with repeat broadcasts from 11 p.m. to midnight. The announced package consists of thirteen 30-minute episodes. These are Japan-channel timings; the announcement does not establish the same schedule for Cartoon Network in other countries.
The anime adapts the manga’s story of a boy without an innate superpower who enters a school for aspiring heroes. The school setting brings training, classmates and professional hero work into the same narrative. That premise gives new viewers a starting point without requiring plot details from later in the series.
In Japan, the channel is carried through services including Sky PerfecTV!, cable television and IPTV. Viewers need to check their own television provider’s channel lineup and subscription terms. The release describes a channel launch and its broadcast slots; it does not promise free viewing or access through every distribution service.
