A new character-sticker project inspired by Japanese cultural motifs will offer its first sleeping-cat set through Kanuma City’s municipal donation-gift system. The organizer plans to open applications November 22 at 10 a.m. Japan time, with 300 sets available on a first-come basis.

The set contains four 48-by-48-millimeter character stickers and a 110-by-85-millimeter backing sticker with gold foil and a serial number. Designs draw on the sleeping cat and three-monkey motifs. The announced donation amount is 11,000 yen; general retail sales are not planned for this version.

International fan outlook and trend context — Editorial forecast

Green House, identified in the release with earlier character-sticker design work, is applying that collectible format to historical motifs; this set’s distribution is restricted to the municipal gift route rather than an ordinary shop purchase. Overseas collectors interested in Japanese sticker art may find the motif-and-format combination worth following because it connects familiar small-format collecting with cultural imagery, though the restricted access route may limit practical participation. This is an editorial forecast, not a report of observed overseas demand.

The organizer says its project site is still being prepared and directs delivery questions to the individual portals. Check official eligibility and distribution information when applications open. The stated allocation is not a remaining-stock count, and this report makes no claim about an individual donor’s tax treatment.
