The EXPO2025 official cafe at Lapoppo LINKS UMEDA in Osaka will continue operating beyond its previously planned October 2026 closing date. Its new end date has not been announced. From November 1, visitors will no longer need an advance reservation.
The operator also plans new menu items and online sales of MYAKU-MYAKU goods through Lapoppo Farm Online from November 1. A charm giveaway starts the same day for transactions totalling at least 5,500 yen including tax, covering both eat-in and takeaway purchases, while charms remain available.
International fan outlook and trend context — Editorial forecast
The change replaces the cafe’s previous advance-reservation system with visits that do not require advance booking. Editorial forecast: overseas MYAKU-MYAKU fans visiting Osaka may find the new arrangement easier to fit around other plans because they can decide to visit without securing a reservation beforehand; it does not establish that seats or goods will always be available.
Announced hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with indoor last orders at 8 p.m. Check the store for giveaway conditions and the online shop for its eventual product range. The continuing cafe is not an announcement that the Expo itself is continuing.
