Pokémon Tea from Nagasaki Uses Loquat Leaves, with a Corrected Case Price

A Pokémon-themed tea from Nagasaki has a corrected case price of ¥5,184 for 24 bottles, including tax. The producer’s public announcement replaces an earlier ¥5,280 figure; the listed individual price is ¥216 for a 500-millilitre bottle.

The drink combines Nagasaki-grown tea leaves with loquat leaves. The producer says the two are worked together while fresh and fermented together. The loquat ingredient is the leaf, rather than the fruit, so the product should not be confused with a fruit-flavoured soft drink.

The packaging features the Pokémon selected as Nagasaki’s regional ambassador under a partnership agreed in June 2024. Its glowing tail is the connection the announcement draws with the prefecture’s islands and lighthouses. The announced release date was October 22, with distribution listed through selected shops and an official online store. The release does not establish that every shop currently has stock.
