Momo has released Jam Palette for iOS, bringing rhythm programming, chord playing and multitrack recording into one music-making app. The developer announced the App Store release on October 25; an Android version is planned, with no firm launch date given.
The app supports importing MP3 and WAV files and exporting finished mixes as MP3 or MP4. Its recording screen includes instrument controls, allowing users to record another part while existing tracks play. A forum provides a way to share patterns with other users.
Momo lists both free and paid plans. The release does not give prices or explain which tools belong to each plan, so the announcement should not be read as a promise that every feature is free. The company also describes automatic chord and harmony functions, but this report does not independently test their performance.
