Two free student-band concerts will bring music to everyday public spaces in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture. The city’s October 23 announcement schedules a station-plaza performance for November 1 and an indoor concert for December 5, both from 11 a.m. to noon.
The November concert takes place in the south plaza of Kakogawa Station. Kakogawa Minami High School’s wind band will play a program centered on pop songs and ensemble pieces. The outdoor performance will be cancelled if it rains.
Hyogo University’s wind band performs at the December concert, in the main meeting room of the SHOWA Group cultural center. Neither concert requires advance booking.
The concerts form part of the city’s program to make music accessible in familiar places. Each is paired with a local community festival, placing student wind-band performances alongside broader activities rather than in a separately ticketed concert hall.
加古川市、駅前と文化センターで無料の吹奏楽公演
加古川市は11月1日と12月5日の11～12時に無料の吹奏楽公演を開催する。11月は加古川駅南広場で加古川南高校がポップスやアンサンブルを演奏し、雨天中止。12月はSHOWAグループ総合文化センター大会議室で兵庫大学が出演する。両日とも事前申込不要で、市の音楽普及事業と地域イベントを組み合わせる。
