A character project built around Beppu’s cycling venue and hot-spring attractions has published a report on its first in-person event. Pictoria’s October 23 announcement looks back at an October 3 festival at Beppu Keirin in Oita Prefecture; it is not an invitation to a forthcoming show.
Two voice actors appeared in two talk sessions, with live character dialogue also performed on stage. The festival opened the track to visitors in the evening, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with free admission. A project booth offered acrylic stands, badges and charms, alongside a promotion connected to a hot-spring sightseeing stamp book.
The project combines the city’s cycle-racing venue with its hot-spring sightseeing attractions. Beppu’s municipal public-enterprise bureau handles the overall concept, while Pictoria develops and produces the characters and related content. The company says further online and in-person activities are planned, but this report does not establish dates for a new event.
