Boulmich will begin selling Christmas confectionery gifts with artwork by designer and picture-book creator Shinzi Katoh on November 1. The rollout covers its online shop and Japanese department stores, station-building shops and other retailers, with availability starting progressively.
Announced tax-inclusive options include a single berry-truffle cake at 432 yen, a two-cake box at 810 yen, and assorted Christmas boxes at 1,620 yen and 2,160 yen. The berry cake uses raspberry, cranberry and strawberry in its batter around a whole chocolate truffle.
International fan outlook and trend context — Editorial forecast
Boulmich says the partnership began in 2020; this Christmas range is the second seasonal installment in a sequence that also includes Halloween, Valentine’s Day and White Day. Overseas admirers of Katoh’s illustrated stationery and gifts may find the food packaging attractive because it brings the designer’s artwork into a different, seasonal gift format. This is an editorial forecast, not a report of observed overseas demand.
The announced prices concern particular packages, not a single uniform gift set. Consult the chosen retailer for the exact contents, release timing and delivery coverage. The Japanese retail announcement does not establish international shipping or availability at every outlet.
