Tutti won the Grand Prix at the twenty-first Sapporo International Short Film Festival, while God Is Shy collected four awards. Organisers announced the results on October 25 following an October 23 ceremony at Concarino in Sapporo.

Honami Yano’s ERI received Best National Short, and Miki Tanaka’s Bad Negotiation took the Japan Premiere Award. French animation God Is Shy, directed by Jocelyn Charles, won for directing, animation, screenplay and original score. The music award is credited to P.R2B in the detailed results.

The festival received 2,622 submissions from 94 countries and regions; its official selection contained 96 films from 28 countries and regions. Those figures describe the submission pool and selected program separately. An online screening period is planned for November 13–29, with almost all nominated films included according to the announcement. The release does not guarantee that every award winner will be available, so viewers should check the online program before buying access.
