Osaka University of Arts will hold a children’s art exhibition with workshops on October 31 and November 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Japan time. Approximately 500 works are planned, drawn from five preschool institutions. The display itself continues through November 7, although the announcement gives the workshop hours only for the opening two days.
The free program is intended for children and guardians from the university’s affiliated kindergartens, the participating partner preschool and nearby kindergartens and nurseries. It should not be treated as an unrestricted visitor-admission offer. Reception is outside Room 208 on Building 13’s second floor; displays and activities use several floors and rooms in that building.
The university’s early-arts-education department uses children’s work to help students examine how drawing changes during early childhood. That educational purpose gives the exhibition context beyond a campus display. Families should confirm their eligibility and the appropriate session before travelling to the Osaka campus.
