Hachette Collections Japan has opened reservations for a web-only, 1:6-scale Golf GTI assembly model. Deliveries are planned to begin around November 25, 2026. The completed model is listed as 62.7 cm long, 23.5 cm high and 27 cm wide, with a display case included.
The programme comprises 130 issues across 33 monthly deliveries. The first four-issue delivery costs 990 yen, the second 4,990 yen and subsequent standard four-issue deliveries 7,999 yen, including tax. Assembly instructions are supplied as videos, without a printed magazine.

The main 1:6 assembly model differs substantially in scale from the separate 1:43 miniature offered with the fifth subscription delivery. Editorial forecast: overseas car-model enthusiasts considering this Japanese subscription may value the opening doors, movable seats, lights and sound functions because these add interactive display features, but the large footprint and staged deliveries could matter as much as the introductory price.
