Students from a Koriyama vocational school joined the production staff at LIVE AZUMA 2026, according to an October 23 report from NSG Group. The festival took place on October 17 and 18 at Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium and the surrounding sports park in Fukushima City. This is a report on completed training, rather than an announcement of another festival date.

The school’s sound and music department worked with professional crews on stage construction, operations and backstage tasks. The account describes equipment handling, cable work and communication between staff as parts of that experience. It does not provide a student headcount or a numerical assessment of the training’s results.

LIVE AZUMA marked its fifth anniversary this year and combined music with food, art and regional exchange. The training therefore took place within a festival programme broader than the performances alone. Its behind-the-scenes work connects classroom study with the practical roles needed to prepare a live event.

The school says it regularly uses regional music events and other outside projects as opportunities for applied learning. Claims about student confidence and career outcomes come from the institution’s own report; they are not independent evidence that attending a particular course guarantees employment. The actual training venue was in Fukushima City, distinct from the school’s Koriyama address.
