AMA BOOKS is scheduled to open to the public on December 4 inside a furniture showroom in Asakura, Fukuoka. Operator Asakuranote announced the permanent bookshop on October 25, separating the public opening from a December 3 preview for invited guests and associates.
The address is 2153 Amagi, within the showroom of Nagano Interior’s Asakura flagship shop. Books will focus on subjects including art, architecture, photography, design, interiors, food and local culture. The selection will be supervised with help from the head of an independent Fukuoka bookshop, with Nippon Shuppan Hanbai handling book distribution.
The project grew out of a book event held at the furniture showroom in 2025. Asakuranote, which launched its local magazine in 2022, is now moving from occasional events to a regular shop. Author and editor talks, exhibitions and community projects are planned, but individual dates and opening hours are not provided in this announcement.

アサクラノートは福岡県朝倉市甘木2153のナガノインテリア朝倉総本店内に、常設書店AMA BOOKSを12月4日に開業予定。12月3日は関係者・招待者向けのプレオープンとなる。アートや建築、写真、暮らし、地域文化などの本を扱い、ブックスキューブリック代表が選書を支援、日販が流通を担う。2025年の同会場の本の催事をきっかけとする計画で、営業時間や個別催事の日程は今回未記載。
