Tokyo Shoseki will sell event-only NEW HORIZON merchandise at a one-day anniversary expo in Tokyo on October 31. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at STUDIO DA VINCI in Higashi-Shimbashi, with advance admission reservations required even for visitors who want to buy goods.

The first-floor exhibition is free with a reservation. Some second-floor sessions are paid and use advance bookings on a first-come basis. These are separate admission arrangements; a free exhibition listing should not be read as access to every session.

An acrylic stand of Ellen Baker costs 1,500 yen including tax. Clear files in anniversary and first-edition designs cost 400 yen each, while a three-piece sticker set featuring current textbook characters costs 500 yen. Quantities are limited and items may sell out.

The expo marks sixty years of the English-textbook series. Its character merchandise sits alongside historical textbook displays, photo areas and talks, linking the illustrated cast with the books’ publishing history. Ellen Baker is identified as the assistant language teacher character from the 2016 edition.

The venue occupies the first and second floors at 2-4-6 Higashi-Shimbashi, Minato Ward. Consult the organiser’s reservation page for remaining places and session conditions before travelling.
