Animate’s New Fukuoka Store Opens October 24 with a Local Cracker Collaboration

Animate’s new store on the eighth floor of Lachic Fukuoka Tenjin opens on October 24, with regular hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The building is directly connected to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. The retailer describes it as its largest shop in Kyushu.

Alongside the familiar merchandise sections, the store introduces Animate Gratte to Kyushu and includes Space A la mode, Space Galleria FUKUOKA and CyConveni areas. These are parts of the new retail site, rather than separate addresses visitors must travel between.

A store-opening collaboration gives a local food tradition an anime-retail connection. The shop will sell Niwaka Senpei crackers, a Fukuoka confection with more than 110 years of history, decorated with the eye area of Animate’s promotional character. A three-piece box costs 300 yen including tax and goes on sale at the new store on October 24.

The issuer also announces a separate official-X prize draw running until November 1 at 11:59 p.m., with ten winners receiving one box each. That promotion has its own entry conditions and should not be confused with an item included in every store purchase. The shop’s address is 2-1-1 Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka.

アニメイトラシック福岡天神が10月24日、福岡市中央区天神2-1-1の8階に開店する。営業時間は10～20時で、西鉄福岡（天神）駅に直結。アニメイトグラッテの九州初出店などを含む。110年以上親しまれるにわかせんぺいとのコラボ商品は、アニメ店長の目元を描いた3枚入りで税込300円。同店で開店日から販売する。公式Xの抽選企画は11月1日23時59分までの別企画で、全購入者への配布ではない。
