Fender’s Mark Hoppus Bass Has an October Order Deadline and December Delivery Plan

Fender has opened a Japan-time order window for its Limited Edition Mark Hoppus Stoned Fruit Jaguar Bass, running from 10 p.m. on October 22 to noon on October 30. The announced price is ¥247,500 including tax, with orders taken through Fender’s official online shop.

The bass is made to order, with delivery stated as by December 21. Its order deadline and delivery plan are therefore separate. The Guava Green finish recalls the instrument used on stage by the blink-182 bassist, while artwork stickers by Burrito Breath are supplied separately for owners to position themselves.

Fender traces its signature-instrument relationship with Hoppus to a 2002 model. This version includes a reverse-mounted Seymour Duncan SPB-3 split-coil pickup, a maple neck and a HiMass Vintage bridge. The company says specifications and prices may change.
