Kanro will release apple-soda-flavoured gummies featuring Hello Kitty across Japan on October 27, 2026. The 56-gram packs have five package designs, with an expected retail price of around ¥205 including tax; actual prices are set by retailers.
The candy shapes combine the range’s usual hearts with randomly included character and motif shapes. Kanro lists Hello Kitty, ribbons and apples, with additional shapes for this second collaboration. The announcement does not promise every shape in each pack.
The partnership follows a first collaboration in 2025. Kanro says its gummy brand dates to 2002 and Hello Kitty to 1974, placing the new release at the meeting point of an established Japanese sweet and a long-running character property.
The October 20 announcement also outlines separate promotional campaigns before and after release. Buying the candy and entering a campaign are different activities, so readers seeking a prize should check the current campaign instructions rather than treating a purchase as automatic entry.
