BS10 Premium will begin a six-month Sada Masashi programming series in November, pairing concert footage with films. The first announced date is November 29: a 1980 film starring the singer airs at noon, followed by his 2010 Todaiji concert at 2:15 p.m., Japan time.
The concert was performed on October 16, 2010, as part of commemorative events at Todaiji in Nara. Its November 2026 broadcast is an archival presentation, not a new concert at the temple. The broadcaster says the concert programs include comments from Sada about the respective performances.
Later concert selections cover a countdown show, a three-thousandth-concert commemoration and tours from 2021, 2022 and 2024. They extend the planned sequence through April 2027. The first month’s dates are specific; later detailed schedules will be announced separately, and film selections from January onward are still to be disclosed.
The mix of past performances and cinema follows different parts of the singer’s career. Viewers should use the channel’s schedule for the final transmission details and access conditions.
