Imagica Infos has scheduled a new novel in The Apothecary Diaries series for December 9, priced at ¥946 including tax. A related manga serial is planned to begin the same day on Sunday Webry, while the film is scheduled to open on December 11. These are separate dates within the same story project.
According to the publisher, the novel draws on the original plot written for the film and includes episodes that could not fit into the movie. The book also includes original character-design illustrations and production comments.
First-print copies are planned to carry a wide promotional band using the film’s key visual. That condition applies specifically to the first printing; it is not described as a bonus attached to every future edition. The publication announcement lists ISBN 978-4-07-464395-0.
