Aeon Fantasy began a phased rollout of six Sanrio-character photo cases on October 21, 2026 through its cashless capsule-toy machines. The company’s October 19 announcement lists a price of ¥704 including tax and availability while supplies last.
Each folding case measures approximately five centimetres by five centimetres. It has a clear pocket for a small photograph, a separate snap-fastened coin pocket and a ball chain for attaching it to a bag or pouch.
The machines dispense capsules through touch-panel controls rather than a turning handle and accept electronic money and QR-code payments. Customers therefore need a supported cashless payment method for this particular range, even though the case itself can carry coins.
Participating venue brands include Molly Fantasy, PALO and TOYS SPOT PALO. Some shops do not carry the item, and the operator warns that rollout dates and participating locations can change. The national retail network does not mean every branch has stock.
