Animated Tomb Characters Return in a New FROGMAN TV Project

DLE has announced a new FROGMAN television project that brings back the animated tomb characters from a comedy first broadcast in 2006. The new installment moves the characters into a hospital setting and is planned for TSK television and online distribution in November.

The broadcaster lists the first five-minute slot as November 7 from 25:15 to 25:20. In ordinary calendar time, that means 1:15–1:20 a.m. on Sunday, November 8, Japan time. Later episodes are scheduled in the same late-Saturday programming slot.

DLE says the production combines its established Flash-animation approach with AI-generated drawing. FROGMAN handles directing and writing. DLE is producing the animation.

The original comedy appeared within THE FROGMAN SHOW in 2006, making the new project a twentieth-anniversary return. The announcement lists TVer, FOD, U-NEXT and Niconico for online distribution, but does not specify identical release times or subscription conditions across those services.
