Animate’s new store at Lachic Fukuoka Tenjin opened on October 24, combining character merchandise, comics and discs with cafe and exhibition areas. It occupies the eighth floor at 2-1-1 Tenjin, Fukuoka, with direct access from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station.
Its Space Galleria FUKUOKA will host a Bungo Stray Dogs art and design exhibition beginning November 20. A character standee signed during the opening ceremony is scheduled to remain in the store through November 23.
International fan outlook and trend context — Editorial forecast
Compared with the store’s comics and disc departments, the gallery adds an exhibition to a shopping visit. Overseas Bungo Stray Dogs fans visiting Fukuoka may find this combination useful when planning their itinerary because the exhibition and shopping share one location. This is an editorial forecast, not a measurement of international demand.
Announced store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Check the retailer’s official information for exhibition admission and any subsequent changes; the opening report does not establish current stock availability.
