Aimer’s Official App Separates Free Information from Paid Fan Content

Aimer’s official smartphone app launched on October 20, according to an October 21 announcement from Fanplus. It is available through the App Store and Google Play. Downloading the app and using official information are free, while some content is paid.

The app brings artist news, push notifications and NIGHT OWLS fan-club content into one place. Fanplus also says tickets bought through the fan club’s first two advance-sale rounds for Aimer’s November 3 concert will be issued inside the app. That statement applies to those ticket rounds, rather than every ticket for the show.

For concertgoers, the practical distinction is between reading news and using the app as an admission tool. The announcement says it can handle ticket receipt through venue entry on a smartphone; some smartphone models are unsupported. Fanplus also announced an official online merchandise store, Aimer Official Market.
