RASENWATCH has added a free live watch-along feature intended to align an anime viewer’s playback with a YouTube broadcaster. RASEN announced the October 25 launch as an extension of synchronisation previously offered for archived videos.

Participants still need their own subscriptions to the streaming services carrying the work. The system coordinates playback alongside the broadcaster’s commentary; it does not turn the YouTube stream into a free transmission of the anime itself. RASEN says its timer-based system can correct delays and resynchronise after advertisements.

The listed desktop setup uses Google Chrome and a RASENWATCH extension. An app serves iPhone and iPad users. Desktop support covers Netflix, Prime Video, U-NEXT, d Anime Store and DMM TV, while the mobile live-sync list is narrower: Prime Video, U-NEXT and DMM TV. On iOS, Netflix and d Anime Store are listed only for simultaneous playback. Android support is described as planned. These are the operator’s stated capabilities, rather than results of an independent product test.
