MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives in Tokyo’s Minato ward will host family music programs on November 14 and 15. Bakurocho Band’s concert begins at 2:30 p.m., with doors at 2 p.m. and a planned finish at 3:45 p.m. Tickets cost 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for elementary-school children and younger.
Children under three may sit on an adult’s lap free of charge. Seating is unreserved and allocated by arrival order. The concert is on the fourth floor; the separately booked workshops take place on the third floor and are not included in concert admission.
The band combines homemade instruments with animation in its performances. That approach connects the concert to hands-on activities: an instrument-making workshop for children aged three to six runs 10:30–11:15 a.m. for 2,500 yen including materials. An iPad composition workshop for elementary-school grades one to six runs 1–2 p.m. for 3,000 yen, with no personal iPad required. Places are limited, and families need to check the appropriate booking for each activity.
