ASTERISK Returns December 12 with VRChat and Standard Streaming Ticket Plans

Appland will stage ASTERISK in Virtual Sanrio Puroland on December 12, bringing the VTuber music event back after six years. The venue is the Sanrio virtual theme park inside VRChat, where part of the world will be adapted for this event with Sanrio and Gugenka’s cooperation.

Two performances are announced, bringing together members of Appland’s .LIVE and other groups alongside outside performers. Viewers without a VRChat setup are also expected to have a separate online-streaming ticket option for ordinary computers and smartphones. Prices, sales dates and further ticket details have not yet been announced.

ASTERISK first took place as an online live event in 2020. Its return moves that concept into a different virtual setting, rather than describing an event at Sanrio’s physical theme park. The announcement separately describes Virtual Sanrio Puroland as a permanent virtual space; that general availability does not establish free admission to the December concert.

アップランドは12月12日、VRChat上のVirtual Sanrio Purolandで音楽ライブASTERISKを6年ぶりに開催する。2公演を発表し、所属内外のVTuberが出演予定。VRChat環境がないPC・スマートフォン向け通常配信券も計画するが、価格と発売日などは後日発表。2020年のオンラインイベントを新しい仮想空間へ移す企画で、実際のテーマパークでの公演や無料ライブとは扱わない。
