Idol group AVAM will appear in its first commercial, promoting a Harry Potter card-game booster release due on October 24, 2026. Animate Holdings announced the campaign on October 21.
The booster, based on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Part.1, costs ¥440 including tax for a five-card pack. A box contains 12 packs and is priced at ¥5,280 including tax. Harry Potter, Dobby and Gilderoy Lockhart are among the characters featured.
The game draws on the Harry Potter films, while the advertisement brings in a seven-member Japanese idol group. In the commercial, six AVAM members split into Gryffindor and Slytherin teams and the seventh acts as referee.
The announcement links to the commercial and product site. It establishes the booster’s release date and pack contents, rather than a timetable for every broadcaster or a guarantee that each pack contains a particular character.
