The publisher of a Japanese VTuber magazine has opened applications for a project that will fund 3D concert production for up to three selected VTubers. Applications run from October 28 through November 30 at 11:59 p.m. Japan time. Selection is required; submitting an application does not secure support.
Announced support includes a 3D model, vocal recording and audio work, motion capture, concert video production, magazine promotion and commemorative goods. The planned concerts are entirely prerecorded and normally consist of five songs plus spoken segments, with specified limits on revisions.

The publisher says its magazine began in 2021; the new initiative extends its reporting and promotional role into funding and coordinating the production of selected performers’ concerts. Overseas viewers who follow smaller Japanese VTubers may be interested in the eventual results because production support could let selected creators present a 3D performance beyond their usual broadcasts.
