Micro Magazine has scheduled a new board-format picture book for January 8, 2027, at ¥1,430 including tax. The publisher describes it as the first board book by the creator responsible for the original character concepts of Rilakkuma and Mikan Bouya.
The new book follows a pig character through ordinary daily experiences. Its format is a modified A5 board book, with ISBN 978-4-8250-0102-2.
The creator’s work extends from character design into several picture-book series. Ahead of publication, the publisher is inviting booksellers to request a proof through its children’s-books editorial department’s official social accounts. That invitation is specifically for booksellers; it is not presented as a public free-copy offer.
