A secondhand bookshop in central Hiroshima is adding a permanent selection of new books, starting with around 50–100 titles. The October 25 announcement from its group company describes a regular retail section at the Kinzagai shop rather than a temporary book-sale pop-up.

The selection will combine recent releases, long-selling books and more specialised choices informed by the shop’s secondhand-book experience. Monthly themed fairs are also planned. The announcement says the current theme brings together writers from Hiroshima and women writers recognised internationally.

The shop dates to 1947 and will retain its secondhand-book business while adding new stock. That history explains the combination of older and newly published books within one shop. The stated address is 1-7 Hondori, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, with opening hours of 10 a.m.–7 p.m. The release gives no separate future opening date for the new section. Readers looking for a particular title should check the shop directly, as the initial range is deliberately limited.
